Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Audit Supervisor to lead our audit projects and mentor auditors. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting and auditing principles, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The Audit Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing audits, conducting fieldwork and testing, communicating audit findings, and ensuring that audit work is performed in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise audit staff and ensure the effective completion of audit engagements.
  • Develop audit plans and schedules.
  • Review audit work performed by auditors.
  • Identify and assess risks and control deficiencies.
  • Ensure audit work is performed in accordance with auditing standards.
  • Review audit reports and communicate findings to management.
  • Provide training and guidance to audit staff.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure audits are completed within budget and on time.
  • Respond to inquiries from management and provide constructive recommendations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of auditing standards, regulations and best practices.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the audit process.
  • Report on the status of audit projects and escalate any issues to management as necessary.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certification, such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (plus)
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, some experience in leadership roles.
  • Fluency in English is required (English Level B2+)
  • Understanding of financial statements, internal controls, and risk management.
  • Strong leadership and management abilities.
  • Knowledge of: US GAAP, SOX (nice to have)
