Job Summary

As a Product Manager II, you will own delivery outcomes for one or more internal products or a defined major capability, working closely with cross-functional partners to translate business needs into well-defined, shippable solutions. You will be accountable for backlog quality, day-to-day prioritization, and ensuring that delivered features achieve their intended business outcomes.

From day one, you will operate with clear ownership over a product backlog and roadmap execution, partnering with design, engineering, and business stakeholders to drive consistent delivery in a complex professional services environment. You will be empowered by our collaborative culture and commitment to excellence to shape the future of our internal products, fostering agility and innovation in a rapidly evolving professional services landscape.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

● Collaborate with partners to create product vision, strategy, and roadmap, translating business priorities into sequenced delivery plans.

● Own and manage the product backlog for a single product or major capability—writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and prioritizing features based on business value and resource constraints.

● Apply domain expertise to design and develop highly specialized analytics tools and products for niche business areas.

● Provide subject matter expertise to guide the development of complex, business-specific solutions.

● Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders to understand business needs, requirements, and user pain points.

● Regularly update stakeholders on product progress, risks, and upcoming milestones.

● Support training and enablement efforts to ensure successful product adoption.

● Identify delivery risks and work with partners to define mitigation strategies.

● Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful feature delivery.

● Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify strategic opportunities and inform product decisions.

● Analyze product metrics and user feedback to inform prioritization and continuous improvement.

● Build and maintain relationships with vendors, manage integrations, and provide input on buy-vs-build decisions.

● Monitor emerging technologies to identify applications for business problems.

● Coordinate with external partners for outsourced development initiatives.

● Implement and refine product development methodologies to improve delivery processes.

AI & Data Specialization

This role carries an AI and Data specialization. Depending on assignment, you may also:

● Support delivery of AI-enabled or automation solutions by translating business workflows into clear product requirements.

● Partner with engineering, data, and business stakeholders to define AI use cases, success metrics, and acceptance criteria.

● Assist in evaluating automation opportunities by assessing feasibility, risks, and expected business impact.

● Ensure AI-enabled features align with firm standards, governance, and responsible AI guidelines.

● Monitor performance and adoption of AI-enabled features to inform prioritization and continuous improvement.

● Support delivery of data products or analytics capabilities, including dashboards, reports, or data-driven workflows.

● Demonstrate foundational awareness of machine learning concepts—including LLMs, NLP techniques, and common model types—sufficient to understand how data- and model-driven capabilities support product requirements and user outcomes.

● Collaborate with Data and Engineering partners to deliver data- and model-enabled features, incorporating guidance on model behavior, testing considerations, and quality signals into day-to-day product work.

● Translate business questions into well-defined data product features and user stories.

● Support backlog prioritization for data initiatives based on business value, dependencies, and data readiness.

● Use data and analytics to inform product decisions and measure product outcomes.
