BI Architect and Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled BI Architect and Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions and data architecture. This professional will play a key role in implementing BI tools that drive strategic decision-making within the company.

The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in SQL databases, Data Warehousing, ETL, and application development using Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Python. In-depth knowledge of Data Warehouse design and maintenance, as well as experience with API integrations, is essential. This individual will work closely with various departments to understand their needs and translate them into effective BI solutions.

• Data Accuracy and Quality:
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all integrated systems and BI solutions.
  • Define and track metrics related to data quality, such as error rates, completeness, and consistency.
  • Set goals for improving data accuracy within a specified timeframe.
• Efficiency and Optimization:
  • Optimize ETL processes and data pipelines to enhance efficiency and reduce processing time.
  • Monitor and optimize data storage, retrieval, and analysis to minimize resource consumption and costs.
  • Set performance improvement targets for data processing and report generation.
• Technology Adoption and Innovation:
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends in BI, data integration, and analytics.
  • Propose and implement innovative solutions to address business challenges and improve efficiency.
  • Evaluate new tools and technologies for potential adoption and assess their impact on business outcomes.
• BI Architecture and Solutions:
  • Design and maintain BI architecture solutions that enhance data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with business areas to identify their needs and translate them into efficient BI solutions.
  • Implement new technologies, such as MS Fabric, to improve business intelligence processes.
• Data Warehouse Development and Maintenance:
  • Design, implement, and maintain efficient Data Warehouses that support the company's analytical needs.
  • Optimize the use of SQL databases and related technologies to ensure proper performance and scalability.
• Tool and System Integration:
  • Implement tool and system integrations through APIs, and manage file imports and exports.
  • Ensure proper integration of BI solutions with existing systems and new technologies.
• Compliance and Security:
  • Ensure compliance with data governance policies, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and address security risks.

Must-have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data integration, ETL development, or BI implementation.
• Strong expertise in SQL and database management, specifically with SQL Server.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Data Warehouses.
• Proficiency in Power BI or related BI tools as well as DAX.
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes and tools like Power Automate or SSIS.
• Strong communication skills to interact with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Ability to translate business requirements into efficient BI solutions.

Nice-to-have

• Familiarity with Python for data processing and analytics is a plus
• Knowledge of API integration for data exchange between systems is apl.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies for project management.
• Experience or knowledge of MS Fabric is a plus.
