Job Summary

The Senior Consultant will be responsible for providing professional business and finance consulting services, both individually and as part of a project team. Duties include providing subject matter expertise across the practice landscape (finance and shared services migrations) and developing high quality client deliverables and work product, participating in, and where appropriate, leading project engagements, supporting practice-related business development and pre-sales activities, and participating in the creation of high valued-added practice methodologies, tools and deliverables. This position may require travel to US client sites or LATAM Auxis locations.

Responsibilities

• Support the strategy, design and implementation of Finance Transformation related initiatives, including the optimization of various back office operational processes (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Supply Chain Management, Customer Enablement, etc.) through process re-design and digitalization, using a broad range of technologies (RPA , Intelligent Data Capture, Automated Invoice Processing and Workflow, Financial Closing Management and Reconciliation, etc.)

• Support the assessment, planning and delivery of Shared services migration projects for external clients across different functional areas (Order to cash, Purchase to Pay, Record to report, Accelerating the close, etc.)
• Participate in the development of: minutes, process maps, SOPs, project plans, presentations, checklists, and other work products for Auxis or external clients.

  1. Provide subject matter expertise across the management consulting practice landscape, and identify, develop and deliver appropriate operational and systems solutions to clients. Duties may include:
  2. Participate in business process and operational assessments (process design and review) including documenting existing operations and processes, interviewing key client staff, etc.
  3. Undertake business analysis capturing “as is” operations and requirements, analyzing client operations and requests, understanding client requirements and identifying potential issues and risks that impact client operations, profitability and performance
  4. Research business process and operational best practices, measure key performance indicators, be aware of market and industry trends and other performance and cost drivers
  5. Provide business process improvement assistance, including developing and implementing process improvement strategies based on client business requirements and operational best practices to design “to be” operational strategies and approaches
  6. Support shared services strategy, requirements analysis, functional design and systems implementation activities on client engagements
  7. Research and remain knowledgeable of industry leading technology solutions for digital transformation and business analytics.

Skills and Experience

  • BS or Masters Degree in Public Accounting
  • Proficient in Visio, Excel, Power Point, Word
  • Knowledge of relevant ERP systems: SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, and/or D365
  • 2-4 finance consulting or audit experience, plus 2-4 accounting or controllership industry experience
  • Ability and desire to work 3+ days per week in the office
  • Collaborative and Easy-Going Personality
  • Highly Organized, Proactive, and Detailed Oriented
