Job Summary

The primary purpose of this role is to act as the first point of contact for an employee or manager reaching out to the HR service center. Answers general questions regarding portal navigation and Total Rewards policies and procedures, referring to an online knowledge base for information and guidance. Perform administrative tasks in support of Total Rewards processes. Uses a case management tool for tracking requests and may transfer or escalate them to other service center parties if the issue cannot be resolved within the contact center.  

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for current and former Lowe’s employees regarding Total Rewards policies and procedures, handling inquiries via ticketing systems.

  • Utilize a case management tool to record, process, and manage requests; assist other service center employees with opening, recording, processing, or closing cases as needed.

  • Escalate complex or confidential inquiries to the Supervisor or Manager when guidance is required.

  • Ensure that all information is complete, accurate, and approved by the appropriate superior.

  • Perform intake, sorting, tracking, and distribution of documents received at the service center (e.g., mail), along with other assigned duties.

  • Assist with basic HR transactions according to established procedures, policies, and direction.

  • Support Senior Representatives, Supervisors, and Managers in daily operations and ensure adherence to proper procedures, policies, and requirements.

  • Collaborate with the HR Supervisor to establish and improve HR procedures and processing methods to meet efficiency, production, and performance goals.

  • Assist the HR Supervisor in monitoring and evaluating HR transaction workflow and volume to ensure targets and performance standards are met.

Skills and Experience

 

Required:

  • 1–2 years of experience in HR Compensation & Benefits administration and/or Payroll processes.

  • English proficiency at B2+ level.

Preferred:

  • University degree in Business Administration or a related field.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

  • 2 years of experience in a Shared Services Center environment.
