Job Summary

Grant Thornton is building an AI Factory to help clients move from isolated AI experiments to production‑grade, agentic solutions with measurable business impact. As an AI Product Lead, you will serve as the Pod Lead for a cross‑functional AI team, owning the journey from problem framing through adoption and value realization.

This role blends product leadership, AI fluency, and executive‑level client engagement. You are accountable not just for delivery, but for ensuring AI solutions are trusted, adopted, and economically meaningful.

Responsibilities

Product & Value Ownership

  • Own end‑to‑end accountability for AI use cases: problem definition, prioritization, delivery, adoption, and value realization
  • Translate ambiguous business problems into well‑scoped, agent‑ready use cases
  • Define and actively manage:
    • Value hypotheses (cost reduction, revenue lift, capacity gains)
    • KPIs and success metrics
    • Adoption and change management plans
  • Serve as the single point of accountability for outcomes delivered by the AI Pod

Agentic Solution Leadership

  • Determine when to apply:
    • Agentic systems vs. copilots vs. deterministic automation
  • Partner with AI Architects and Engineers to:
    • Decompose work into planner, executor, and validator agent patterns
    • Define appropriate human‑in‑the‑loop and escalation controls
  • Ensure solutions are designed for reliability, explainability, and controlled autonomy

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the primary client‑facing leader for AI pod engagements
  • Facilitate executive working sessions to:
    • Align on business objectives
    • Set expectations for AI behavior and limitations
    • Establish trust in AI‑enabled workflows
  • Communicate progress, risks, and value in business terms, not technical jargon

Delivery & Governance Alignment

  • Own backlog prioritization and acceptance criteria for the pod
  • Ensure alignment with GT’s AI Factory standards, including:
    • Responsible AI principles
    • Security and privacy expectations
    • Auditability and traceability requirements
  • Partner with centralized Platform & Trust teams as needed—without slowing delivery

Skills and Experience

Experience

  • 8+ years in product management, digital transformation, or technology consulting
  • Demonstrated experience owning outcomes, not just delivering features
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams in ambiguous environments
  • Experience working with enterprise or regulated clients preferred

AI & Agentic Fluency

  • Strong conceptual understanding of:
    • Generative AI and LLM capabilities and limitations
    • Agentic patterns (planning, tool use, validation, orchestration)
  • Practical experience framing AI use cases that balance:
    • Business value
    • Risk and control
    • Adoption readiness
  • Ability to identify common AI failure modes and design mitigation strategies

Business & Consulting Skills

  • Executive‑level communication and presence
  • Strong facilitation skills for workshops and decision forums
  • Comfort operating in environments with:
    • Compliance requirements
    • Model risk considerations
    • Data privacy constraints
  • Ability to manage scope, expectations, and trade‑offs with confidence

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience launching AI solutions into production environments
  • Background in one or more functional domains (Finance, Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Risk, etc.)
  • Familiarity with AI governance, model risk management, or responsible AI frameworks
  • Experience working in fractional leadership or “as‑a‑service” delivery models
