Job Summary

The Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) at Auxis serves as the technical bridge between AI platform capabilities and client operational environments. This role is embedded in client engagements to design, configure, integrate, and continuously optimize AI-powered solutions across enterprise workflows, operating within the ITO practice and working directly alongside client technical teams to ensure successful deployment and adoption.

The FDE is a practitioner first: a hands-on technical implementer and enablement specialist who serves as the dedicated Subject Matter Expert for both the Anthropic Claude ecosystem and the Workiva platform. This role is specifically scoped to support financial reporting, SOX 404 compliance, and external audit workflows. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in deploying Claude within regulated, audit-sensitive environments and configuring Workiva for SEC disclosure and ICFR documentation — and, critically, the ability to bridge both platforms to drive automation and accuracy across the financial close and reporting cycle.

Responsibilities

Client Deployment and Integration

  • Lead end-to-end deployment of AI solutions within client environments, from requirements gathering through production go-live
  • Design and implement integrations between Claude-based solutions and third-party enterprise platforms including ERP, ITSM, finance, and reporting systems
  • Configure and customize AI workflows using Claude API, Claude for Teams, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork to address specific client use cases
  • Develop and maintain integration documentation, runbooks, and handover materials for client and internal teams

Technical Architecture and Configuration

  • Translate business requirements into technical solution designs, selecting appropriate Claude deployment patterns: API-first, embedded, agentic, or assisted workflows
  • Build and maintain prompt libraries, system prompt architectures, and context management strategies optimized for enterprise use cases
  • Implement MCP (Model Context Protocol) server integrations and API connectors between Claude and target systems
  • Ensure solution scalability, security compliance, and alignment with client data governance policies

Client Enablement and Support

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients during and post-deployment phases
  • Conduct technical onboarding sessions and hands-on enablement workshops for client technical teams
  • Troubleshoot integration issues, performance gaps, and adoption barriers in production environments
  • Translate complex AI concepts into accessible language for business stakeholders and end users

Continuous Improvement and Innovation

  • Monitor deployed solutions for performance, usage patterns, and opportunities for optimization
  • Stay current with Anthropic product updates, new Claude capabilities, and ecosystem changes that impact client deployments
  • Contribute to Auxis' internal AI knowledge base, reusable prompt frameworks, and integration accelerators
  • Support pre-sales technical scoping and solution design for new client opportunities
