SENA Intern – Desktop Support

In this entry-level position, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of desktop systems, software, and peripherals. You will work closely with our Seniors DT team to troubleshoot hardware and software issues, set up workstations, and offer excellent customer service to resolve technical problems efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen interest in IT support and technology.

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
• Respond to support requests from end-users via ticket, email, or in-person.
• Diagnose and resolve desktop issues, including OS and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Set up, configure, and maintain desktop workstations and related equipment.
• Assist with system updates, patch management, and software installations.
• Maintain an organized record of support tickets and escalate issues as necessary.
• Additional responsibilities include:
  • Comply and adhere to Auxis operational processes and security policies
  • Use of Auxis Service management tools for Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration management
  • Use of Auxis monitoring and management tools for the devices and infrastructure applications
  • Attend all operational and project (ad-hoc) related scheduled meetings as required

• Basic knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS).
• Basic Knowledge in Microsoft Intune or other MDM solutions.
• Basic Knowledge of scripting languages - PowerShell preferred.
• Basic Knowledge of Networking.
• Familiarity with office applications and common software troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior experience in IT support or a relevant internship is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
